The location
The old prison is located in the middle of the old town of Braunau next to the Palmpark. It is just a 3-minute walk to the town square.
Parking
Because the inmates back in the days barely needed a car, the prison has no own parking spots. But just around the corner you can find two free public parking areas (see google maps below).
Getting there
Braunau is easy to reach by bike, paddle boat, car and public transport.
